Single-Broadcast Flake System

The single-broadcast system involves applying a pigmented base coat, broadcasting decorative flakes into the wet epoxy until the surface is partially covered, and then sealing with a clear topcoat. This system offers a good balance of decoration and economy, and is the standard choice for residential garages and light commercial spaces.

Full-Broadcast (Double-Broadcast) System

In a full-broadcast system, flakes are broadcast to rejection — meaning the surface is completely covered. After curing, the excess flakes are scraped and vacuumed, and the surface is sealed with a thick clear topcoat. This creates a thicker, more durable floor system that completely hides the concrete beneath. It is ideal for commercial and industrial environments.

Quartz System

Quartz systems use colored quartz aggregate instead of vinyl flakes. The quartz is broadcast into the epoxy base coat, creating an extremely durable and slip-resistant surface. These systems are common in commercial kitchens, restrooms, locker rooms, and other areas requiring exceptional durability and traction.

Metallic System

Metallic systems use metallic pigments mixed into clear or tinted epoxy. The installer manipulates the metallic pigments using rollers, squeegees, and blowers to create unique flowing patterns. Each floor is a unique work of art. A clear topcoat is applied for protection and enhanced depth.
